Interfaith Encounters - General Study Sessions

Launch of Tel Aviv-Jaffa Interfaith Encounter - 3 April 2006:

We met on April the third at the Jewish-Arab Center in Jaffa. Thirteen people arrived for the encounter.

In order to start the process, Yehuda Stolov presented the movement of the Interfaith Encounter and spoke to the vision of the movement.

Then, in order to give all participants a voice and a part in the creation of the new community – every participant shared what brought him or her to the encounter, what attracted them in the idea and what would they want to create.

Finally, in the little time left, we started a conversation about the One God, according to Islam and Judaism.

The next encounter will take place on Tuesday, May 9th, at 7:30pm in the Arab-Jewish Community Center in Jaffa (109 Kedem Street – when coming on Yefet Street you turn right into Mendes Frans, following the sign near Yefet 142).
