December 31, 2007 - Hosting a Group of Women from the US

On Monday, December 31st 2007, the Shibolot Interfaith Encounter group hosted some 22 women from the US in an acquaintance encounter. They spoke about the activity of the group in particular and the community center in general. After the encounter the guests divided into groups and went to visit and get to know M'ghar.


January 1, 2008  - Planning for the New Year

The Shibolot women's group met in the community center, after a long break, in order to plan its activity in the year 2008.

It was decided that the group will meet every other month to plan activity for the village and will have the activity in the third month.

It was also decided that the group will work on a project of parlor meetings for women on the issue of bringing the hearts closer together between the different communities in M'ghar, where there are still tensions. The first encounter in the neighborhoods will take place on January 25th.
