M'ghar Sawa Rabina Interfaith Encounter Group on December 7th and 28th:

December 7th 2007

The Sawa Rabina Interfaith Encounter group went together to give condolences to the member of the group Mr. Shafiq Jahshan who lost his sister in the beginning of December.

All members of the group, from the different religious communities, took part in the visit and the mere fact of members of different faiths participating together in his sorrow was extremely powerful.


December 28th 2007

The Sawa Rabina Interfaith Encounter group took part, together with the leadership of the community center, in planning and organizing the first Festival of Festivals in M'ghar, where boys and girls of all communities of the town joined together for seven days.

In the opening political, cultural and social leaders participated, such as the Minister Ghaleb Majadleh, the Director of the Community Center, School Principles and many people from the town.
