1 May 2006 - Preparation Meeting for the "Truth" Conference, Scheduled for 12-13 May 2006:

Representatives from both interfaith groups in the Community Center, Swaa Rabina and Shibolut, attended the meeting. Adnan, the center's director started with an overview of the program, after which, he spoke at length about the importance of the interfaith encounter in the village, because of it being multi-religious, and asked the members to take the matter of the conference seriously, and contribute as much as they can for its success. The conference is supported by the Mayor, Mr. Ziad Daghash who offered his help and is a partner in all the preparations made for the conference's success.

The members from both groups shared the responsibility for every aspect of the conference, top to bottom - beginning with organizing the timetable, invitations for lecturers and participants, finding families that are willing to host, organizing the food and as far as posting direction signs to the community center and preparing name tags.

Each member was given a job, and in the course of the next few days before the conference, they were asked to be in contact with the other committees and group members to insure that all preparations will be completed before the due date.
