Acre Interfaith Encounter Group Renews its Activity on 3rd December 2007:

For technical reasons the group did not meet for a long time. In the end of November it was decided to renew activity. It was agreed that for the next encounter, 5 people will be invited from each group.

The encounter took place in the Committee Room of the Acre Municipality on Monday, December 3rd, and was facilitated by Raja and Dubi.

Three people from the Jewish group arrived (one apologized as he was sick and one just did not show up). From the Arab group no one arrived but they called to apologize.

Those who came to the encounter were: School Principle, former Vice-Mayor for the National Religious Party and a Director of Community Center.

We had a conversation about running and improving future encounters and how to enlarge the number of participants in the coming encounters. If possible we will send materials ahead of each encounter and a summary after it.

The next encounter will take place on January 7th in the Committee Room.
